We instructed Adnan on a sale and purchase. He was incredibly professional, efficient and proactive. We genuinely couldn’t have wished for a better service. Kristel from Nicholls looked after my house purchase. Although the house took 7 months to complete (no chain, newish build) due to the slow working pace of the vendor's solicitor and the council, Kristel was always quick to respond to my emails, and always kept me updated about the progress. She also gave me good and pragmatic advice whenever required. I think the overall costs were reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend her!

Nicholls were efficient, friendly, and professional during our conveyancing process. Each member of the team kept us well informed throughout, and Adnan in particular towards the end of the process made sure we were able to go through any questions or concerns we had. Conveyancing solicitors get a bad rep, but I can honestly say that I would use Nicholls again in a heartbeat.

Having been presented with a settlement agreement during an involuntary redundancy / consultation process with my employer - I contacted Nicholls Solicitors to provide independent review & legal advice, per the process. I instructed this firm for an urgent family court matter involving my son and paid over £2,200 in fees. After paying, I was passed to their Head of Family Law, Rebecca, who was completely out of her depth. She actually emailed me to admit she "did not know how she could assist me" with my family law case, despite the firm having already drained my funds for what they called "preparation." With a strict family court deadline looming, I was left completely stranded without the strategic legal backing I paid for. I had to draft my own position statement and source an external barrister myself just to protect my case. I raised a formal complaint regarding this shocking lack of competence in their family department. To the firm's credit, a senior partner stepped in immediately and offered a £1,500 refund to close the file so I could take my case elsewhere. While I am glad they refunded the bulk of my money without a prolonged fight, the stress of being abandoned by a "Family Law specialist" right before a crucial court hearing was completely unacceptable. If you have a time-sensitive family law or child matter, look elsewhere.
