    Great experience with competence and urgency

    Our UK subsidiary was recently subjected to allegations of fraud. As an immediate consequence, our bank accounts were frozen following a decision made by the police. The bank’s position was that, for compliance reasons, they could not give us access to our funds. However, the bigger problem was that we were unable to understand the nature of the allegations or gain access to the details behind them, and therefore had no real opportunity to respond or find a solution. Only after a recommendation from a good friend did we get in touch with the law firm Standback Reed, where we were introduced to Richard Cooper. He proved to be exactly the right lawyer to handle our case. Within 24 hours, we had provided everything Richard Cooper requested, including data, company information, and details relating to the company’s customers and suppliers. Remarkably, within the following 48 hours, Richard Cooper had established contact with the police and the relevant case officers, explained the misunderstandings surrounding the matter, and just 24 hours later the police confirmed that the case had been dismissed and would not be pursued any further. Without the swift assistance we received from Standback Reed, we could have faced being left without banking facilities for 6 to 12 months. Thank you very much for your help.       Little to no contact

      I have HAD to use sternberg reed for my fathers probate since september 2024. They contact has been unnacceptable i was originally using charles and lisa who then later left the company mideay dealing with the probate (which i was not informed) to find this out contacted the office to find out someone else was now dealing with this i have asked her now 7 times to contact me with an update and since have been feeling next to ignored. They havent even called me after several voicemails since march. This has left me feeling frustrated and made a already stressful process ten times worse. My strongest suggestion if using the canterbury branch for a will move it while you can.
