    I met with Melanie den Brinker today for advice and help with my divorce papers. She has a great relaxed and understanding approach at what could be a difficult time, and yes that first 30 minutes is free. The time is also not dragged out just so they can charge you more.     Just reading the review of Lora Grogan below and can't help but think that it sounds to me like she did a jolly good job for her client - it certainly isn't her role to protect the person on the other side of the dispute. Perhaps you should be complaining about the poor performance of your own solicitor in not protecting your position at the time? I used Lora and Melanie Den Brinker when I needed to seek years of unpaid child support from my ex - it's very difficult to get more than 12 months worth of arrears through the courts - they managed to get me full recovery together with costs and did an absolutely outstanding job for me. I felt fully informed and protected the whole way through process. They were particularly good when it came to selecting the right barrister to represent me too and going through that thoroughly with me. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

      We were looking for simplicity, but also wanted that to be well-informed. Annelise was immediately friendly, approachable and knowledgeable and prioritised understanding us.
