We were recommended EMD Law by a friend. It is a big part of buying and selling your house and so we were desperate to find a firm that was customer focused. EMD Law were the best choice we made. Nicola was proactive from start to finish of the sale of our property to the purchase of our new home. I would use and recommend EMD Law all day long. Nicola always kept us updated, she made a very stressful situation worry free and for that, we are incredibly grateful.

Very Professional Service

Catie and the team at EMD Law recently represented me through an unexpected financial application made by my former spouse. They provided great advice and support through an incredibly stressful time in a clear manner which made it much easier to digest. Catie kept me fully updated on the communication on all aspects of the proceedings , giving me reassurance that costs were being kept to a minimum and ultimately helping me to have the application dismissed and awarded my costs. I felt that all members of the team were up to speed with the proceedings and all communication was dealt with promptly and professionally. My own experience of EMD Law has been first class in every way! I have used them for the conveyancing of my father's apartment, the sale of my house and the purchase of another.
They are friendly and approachable, knowledgeable and at the end of the phone most of the time when you need help.
They may not be the cheapest solicitors around but you get what you pay for and I believe I had good value for money.
They are informal but professional and care about their clients so I would not hesitate to recommend their services and I shall certainly use them again.

Clients are provided with a cost estimate at the beginning of every matter so there are no unpleasant surprises when they are invoiced. We are happy to discuss payment by instalments as we think everyone has the right to obtain good quality legal advice, but realize that it is often difficult to pay for it upfront. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, professional, and accommodating law firm in Kent and East Sussex, providing an approachable and efficient service. We can offer wheelchair access at both our Kent and East Sussex offices and home/office visits and late-night appointments for commuters upon request.
