My estate agent Moores recommended JMP (Stephanie) when I had offer accepted & moving from Cornwall to Rutland I was out of area & needed a conveyancing solicitor. From the get go Stephanie was on the same page as me, I’m a cash buyer & there was no onward chain with my purchase so I was keen to swiftly complete. I made the offer 20th May & completed 23rd May. It was entirely due to Stephanie pushing it forward as it progressed. When emails didn’t quite work, Stephanie rang me for an instant update. I have worked as a legal secretary in conveyancing for a number of years myself and always hoped for a Stephanie if ever I needed one in my own purchase. At the outset all seemed very promising with the option to use an online portal application to action documents and assess progress. However, once the necessary documentation was uploaded we quickly actioned/completed our required tasks but found progress was slow and communication slower unless we chased. From the initial promise of the app it unfortunately appeared to become redundant as it was only used at the beginning and end of the process.

We have recently bought a property using Sharon at JMP. The process was made so much easier as Sharon agreed to join the agent’s WhatsApp group. Thank you Sharon for making this process so less stressful.

Buying my first home was stressful, especially with my lease about to run out, but Anna and Karli made it happen on time. The pricing was super clear — no surprise charges — and Anna’s experience with the council really helped. They’re not a “fast-food” type of solicitor — they actually take the time to do things properly and treat you like a human, not just a file.
