Worst Solicitors Ever , amateurs

Absolutely rubbish, gave me advice on what to say to obtain legal aid, then wanted me to plead guilty without even considering my pleads of innocence, and did not whatsoever fight for me in court and was just brushed aside by the prosecution like a bit of dust, then refused to lodge my appeal, absolutely shocking!!!!

Chavs in suits, Avoid..

Terrible customer service first of all! tried calling 4 times during Investigation for crime i didnt commit, only recived letter from them three weeks after arrest only to get a letter from police next day with an NFA, i was told i would be facing 6 months minimum, very stressful time in my life due to these chavs in cheap suits who could care less, i believe this is a front for something more malicious, they defend gangsters includng stephen french.

Dismissed Before Trial

I met the Merseyside Liverpool police for the first time during my first ever visit to Liverpool. The police were really big bullies, no words all action and I got caught up in their sinister plot which also became my first time in trouble with the police. I went with Cobleys and never looked back. They are very helpful. Full of knowledge and insights. Before I even stepped into the court room one of the solicitors at Cobleys who had listened and understood my situation spoke to the Magistrates court and got the case immediately dropped. It was an outcome nobody saw coming. I am nothing but grateful for Cobleys stern and just actions!

Accident at work

I was run over in work and jumped into the first solicitors I seen which was Cobleys and it has to be the biggest mistake I have ever made in my whole life. In 20 months I had four different people handling my case the first was bad not having a clue what he was doing obviously just completely untrained so I then got another person to handle my claim.. the second one was even worst not having a clue about my case and failing to do any homework onit.. I was told I would get updates every 2 weeks not only would you not get updates but you could not even get a reply.. I would constantly call and the women on the desk would just say who ever I was after was not in at the moment (every single time) so I told the firm I wanted to leave and get a new solicitors so they actually talked me round to having one of there best solicitors would be on my case and it would be different and being over the top apologetic so silly me actually believes them and they put a women on my case who honestly was worst then the previous two.. after months and months of the lack of professionality and just absolute mistake after mistake I had enough and told them I wanted to leave.. I was speaking to a lady called Hayley Webster she absolutely sweet talked me into staying saying that she was high up in the company and she would take over my case herself to get it done properly.. I am not even sure how it’s possible but she was actually worst then the other three.. she was impossible to get hold of she would try book me scans which I had already had 10 months previous she told me not to go physio because she would book it private then after 8 weeks of constantly asking her what is going on with physio she finally replied telling me she could not sort it and I should sort it myself. These are just a few things if you would like to know the full extent of how bad this solicitors please don’t hesitate to get in touch and I will show you proof of every single last mistake they made over the last 20 months. I am now with a different solicitors and I honestly couldn’t be happier they actually care about you and ask how you are doing something I didn’t hear in nearly 2 years from Cobleys.

Terrible solicitors based in Liverpool

I am instructed back in 2015 regarding damp, mould, condenisation, after the suffering since 2011 of contacting my landlord rbh, who failed to do nothing about. My case was going to court, and I was not compensated for my injury sadly, I found out later which I believe is two late now as I purchased my home. I am disgusted by Cobleys!!!

Poor advice to line their own pockets

Cobleys took on a data breach case for me on a CFA. (no win no fee). After many blunders by Cobleys, too many to list, Cobleys tried to get me to settle for a ridiculously low fee.

It transpired that the claim was suitable for the Small Claims Court and Cobleys were aware that had it proceeded to a hearing, they would not be in a position to recover their costs (Legal costs are not generally available in the Small Claims Court).

Rather than act in my best interest, they tried to pressure me to settle for a value that was a fraction of the expected value on the basis the low out of court settlement including some legal fees.

Cobleys failed to 'Act in my best interest' as per the CFA. Ironically, Cobleys were supposedly acting for me in a Data Breach Claim, Cobleys sent copies of my file to an unauthorised person, without my knowledge or permission.

My case handler, named Keith, who I believed was a Solicitor, turned out he was neither a solicitor or even a paralegal. Just an office worker. He was supposedly supervised by the Head of the Civil Team, named Hayley. When Keith sent an erroneous and 'detrimental' email to the defendants, I queried if Hayley had 'supervised' this massive error, Cobleys have refused to answer leading me to believe that no one is supervising office staff acting as solicitors.
