Avoid HNK solicitors/Express Solicitors at all costs. Waste of time and space. I acutally turned down another law firm to go with HNK. What a mistake. HNK actually work and side with the police. I was arrested and the West midlands police had no evidence and found no evidence. Yet recently, my previous house mate pulled a knife on me and tried to attack me, all caught on CCTV and the west midlands police let him off. Whereas I was arrested on the basis of fabricated witness statements who never turned up to court. I would not recommend HNK/Express solicitors.

Will not take on hard cases, promise to call back never do. Only gave 1 star because I had to.

I have had a claim going for over 3 years. I had to complain about my solicitor messing me about. He never emailed or called and this went on for 3 years. He also didn't add all the things I wished to claim so now the claim is messed up. I have had a response from the complaints department who asked if another solicitor could take over. I feel trapped by them. This has gone on and on in circles wirh surveyors etc. They rang me this morning and I have had to tell them I am not willing to go through another person looking in the roof space. Their 'experts' never went up there last time and were rude about it and yet offered their experts advice about the roof to the report for the solicitor. It has been a nightmare from the very start. I wish I hadn't bothered. In truth they have caused me more stress and anxiety than the Council. I have had enough of them. DO NOT USE. They take half the money they've allegedly fighting for, for you.

I contacted 'Injury lawyers for you' due to an injury from a set of kitchen knives and my case was passed to Express solicitors. I received an email requesting further information then an operative contacted me for further details. He finished the conversation by telling me he would contact me the following day. After around 10 days of waiting I sent an email enquiring where my case was up to? Recieved no reply. Two weeks later I made further contact and again received no response. Hence the reason I state unreliable due to not keeping to agreement and poor communication.

They took my case on and dragged things out for years only to then drop my case outside the legal time period it could be filed in court. Their excuse was it falls below the threshold for prospect of success however the most likely reason was their negligence in filing the matter in time: Im a Forensic Accountant and my ATE insurance broker didnt share their opinion on that fact the case has low prospect and I also have 17 years litigation experience and never come across a "legal firm" like these absolute cr00ks Ive been scammed by this firm who then gave deceitful reasons as to why they dropped my case. I will be reporting these individuals to the SRA and suggest others do the same too.
