I initially spoke with Gerard, who listened carefully to what happened, clearly explained my options in terms of defence, and openly and accurately discussed the likely costs. I was then in contact with Joanna, who drafted the application to set aside. After reviewing the first draft, Joanna rewrote it entirely, making it much more personal and specific to my situation. I was genuinely impressed when I read it. After a few emails back and forth and a short call to make some small changes, it was complete. I was kept informed of everything after that point and then received a call with the good news. The creditor agreed to the CCJ being set aside and the case being dismissed entirely. I am extremely grateful for the work JCS did and would not hesitate to recommend them. I felt they were genuinely on my side from start to finish.

Having previously used these solicitors I had complete faith that Joanna could once again help me with the debt case brought against me by Link and their solicitor Kearns. From the first helpful contact with Sam who took my initial details and who then passed me over to Gerry to explain what the chances of a good outcome would be and if it was worth pursuing I was then further contacted by Joanna who took over the claim and filed the defence. While Googling just who Hoist Finance were, I stumbled across a blog entry from Joanna Connolly which stated they had no right to chase a debt from Barclay's and that they had a 100% win record when taking them on.
