Steph handled the completion end of my purchase and she was fantastic, very prompt in replying to my messages and always happy to answer my queries. She was also very good at keeping the estate agents up to date and dealing with the vendor’s solicitors. Transparent, prompt and professional, I could not recommend them more!

Ethan handled the conveyancing for the purchase of our first home and we would highly recommend him. Although we experienced a number of issues and delays during the purchase due to the onward chain, Ethan was excellent at keeping us informed throughout. Whenever there was an update or new information, it was communicated to us quickly and clearly, which we really appreciated. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Ethan was very responsive whenever we contacted him with questions or asked for an update, and his replies were always clear and informative. Buying a house can be stressful enough, particularly when delays elsewhere in the chain are outside of your control, so having a conveyancer who was readily available and kept us informed made a real difference. We’re very grateful to Ethan for all of his work in getting our purchase through to completion and helping us finally get the keys to our new home. Thank you again!

I really cannot fault how quickly our house sale went though – we completed in just over 3 months. Victoria was polite and helpful, but communication could’ve been better. We only heard about the proposed completion date from our estate agents and not Victoria. This felt like important information that we should’ve heard from Victoria. However, we had a positive experience overall.

Steph has been absolutely brilliant ☺️ We are first time buyers so we had never had to go through this kind of process before, and Steph was so lovely and helpful throughout. We never had to chase her for anything, she was always quick to respond and was there whenever we had any questions. Everything was dealt with efficiently and professionally, and she made the whole process feel much easier and less stressful. We would definitely recommend her :)

We cannot recommend Lilac Law highly enough. From the very beginning, our solicitor (Susie) has been professional, thorough, knowledgeable and incredibly supportive throughout what has been a complicated house purchase. Susie went way above and beyond to carefully investigate the property and, importantly, identified issues that we may otherwise have been unaware of. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answer all of our questions and make sure we fully understood the implications before making any decisions. What really stood out was how thorough she was and how she put our interests first. We always felt that she was looking out for us rather than simply trying to get the transaction completed. Her attention to detail, professionalism and dedication have been exceptional. Susie Lennard has been absolutely brilliant and went above and beyond when working on our house purchase. She took over from another solicitor after they became absent from the firm. While we understand that such things can be out of anyone’s control, during this time we received no updates from Lilac Law and were left waiting for around two weeks, feeling ignored and worried, until we eventually received an email from Susie explaining that she would be taking over our case. From that point onwards, Susie worked incredibly hard to help us complete our purchase as quickly as possible. As first-time buyers, we really appreciated how clearly she explained the process and the professional advice she gave us throughout. She was always incredibly helpful, responsive and supportive, and we are very grateful for all her hard work. We have given 4 stars because of the lack of communication and support from Lilac Law during the initial two weeks with our first solicitor. However, once Susie took over our case, she was fantastic and went above and beyond to get everything back on track. We would highly recommend Susie to anyone looking for a solicitor!
