I used DW Harris to change my surname via deed poll in August 2022. I was put in contact with who my solicitor who from the offset was a nightmare with cancelling appointments even when I was in the building waiting for numerous callback requests which weren’t fulfilled and they just palmed me off to their secetary who matched their attitude in the sense of not wanting to do anything. The whole process should have realistically taken at the most 6 months, well today was the day I had my enrol letter back. From the first appointment to the last it was a constant battle from my end to get them to do anything. They even asked me to contact the deed poll centre myself as they weren’t prepared to follow up and advised me to call them myself bearing in mind this is what I paid them to do! A very poorly costly service which I ended up sorting Myself anyway! AVOID

I was recently represented by dw Harris . And am very greatful that they were able to help me In a very difficuilt time Sarah Millard was always helpful professional and friendly which sometimes helped with my anxieties and I got the outcome I wanted . All the other staff I met or spoke to on the phone were always friendly and helpful too . I can’t thank them all enough !

I highly Mr Christopher Pridham along with Linda, Mr Pridham is very persistent and professional throughout the whole difficult and stressful process often easing anxiety with his friendly manner and calm ways. Linda is amazing at keeping the link of communication and again very friendly while answering all of your queries quickly and professional. The communication throughout my long case was outstanding from this solicitor which helps you understand the whole process much more. Never once did I feel judged, belittled or out of the loop. Firm was hired by me to handle the purchase of a no chain property in Pontypridd. Emails were extremely slow and lacked information I requested or solicitor was on annual leave. I received more information from a local insurance company and also the estate agent office on queries I had. Substandard service provided at best. Steer well clear of this place.
