After using a search engine to get a price for a simple conveyance, I was put in touch with Inspire Legal. What a mistake that was, and still is.
The sale was agreed privately and I told them that 3 times but they kept asking for a memorandum of sale from my agent. I then spent weeks trying to chase them as to what was happening, even having the buyers agent contact me to say the buyers solicitor had not heard from them. They seem to have no idea about how to carry out a simple no chain cash sale to a large organisation. They even put the wrong agreed price on one document. I am still chasing them now and have given them another day to come back to me but I don't hold out much hope. I clearly wont be paying them any more money and will be asking for a full refund for the funds already paid.
I wish I had never gone near this firm as it is costing me money every day the sale is delayed when both parties wanted a quick exchange and completion. Save your money and aggravation, and look for another company, as this lot are totally unprofessional and to be frank at his stage of no help whatsoever.

The service (lack there of) from Inspire Legal Group is laughable. We instructed ILG on 09/08/24 and very quickly it became clear we were going to have a horrible time.
Repeatedly us, our estate agent and the sellers solicitors made attempts to contact both our solicitor directly and ILG themselves and our attempts fell on deaf ears. Months went by with ignored calls, emails and a plethora of empty promises and we were at risk of losing our dream home. We eventually had to switch solicitors 1/11/24 leaving us £318 down.

We submitted a complaint about the terrible service on 31/10/24, expressing our distress at the lies we were given and lack of contact that followed. This complaint then sat unresponded to for over 3 months, finally receiving a reply on 6/2/25 that stated we would receive a response the following week. However, now 21 weeks later, we are still yet to receive any response.

If you like the property you have purchasing and value your own sanity and money. Run. Run far away.
If Home Legal Direct has assigned you ILG, contact them immediately and demand they correct this and offer you another solicitor.

They looked after the purchase of the business and the transfer of the lease. Great communication throughout and thorough.
