Taken 8 years and reporting them to the legal ombudsman and they still haven’t finalised the simple purchase of buying some land off a neighbouring farmer who also used a solicitor in the same firm to make things easy. Once they had my money they couldn’t care less and have just ignored me. Avoid this company at all costs.

Sarah and Louise were great from start to finish during what was a very stressful time. They both came back to me really quickly whenever I was unsure of something or needed help with forms etc and I genuinely think the ongoing house sale wouldn’t have gone through without them. Lack of communication, communicating with incorrect person, refuses to use telephone, always on holiday, doesn’t work Fridays, didn’t send correct paperwork, said no action needed by us when there was, delaying matters. Would not use again.

When we moved house 3 years ago we used Holley and Steer to handle the conveyancing (upon my sons recommendation) and they did a good job handling awkward vendors.
