In Scotland, the equivalent arrangement is a facility maintenance or maintenance services contract, governed by Scots contract law and typically pursued in the sheriff courts or Court of Session depending on value and complexity. A Scottish solicitor drafts terms for service levels, response times, and remedies, and ensures proper risk allocation, insurance, and regulatory compliance under Scottish procedural norms and the Law Society of Scotland framework.
