This work covers drafting and tailoring employment contracts for individuals, including core terms such as job title and duties, pay, hours, holiday, notice, probation, and termination. A solicitor drafts and negotiates confidentiality, intellectual-property, non-solicitation and restrictive covenants, grievance and disciplinary procedures, and any bespoke protections needed by the role. They review employer drafts, align terms with current law, and ensure the contract is enforceable and clear for both sides.

“I am so grateful for the service I have received from Poole Alcock LLP as a whole, but also more specifically from Rachel Day. Rachel and the team have been extremely supportive and helpful. Correspondence was always extremely detailed and answered all my concerns. The team put my mind at ease and ensured I knew what I was entitled to when I was going through a stressful and unnerving time. I would not be in the position I am in now without the expert advice I received from Poole Alcock LLP. Very happy the service. ”

Anthony Willis Your solicitor Anthony Willis Senior Associate - Employment Law
“Being the first time I've needed a solicitor I wasn't sure what to expect, and I couldn't be happier. Anthony was informative and helpful throughout our dealings, took the time to explain everything at a level I would understand. Reasonable in every regard and got the matter resolved quickly. Could not recommend a solicitor more. I hope I won't need a solicitor again but if I do, I know who I'll be calling.”
