This area covers what to do when a couple splits up, including legal steps to settle finances, housing, and arrangements for children. A solicitor helps negotiate or draft an agreement on how assets, pensions and debts are divided, and whether to apply for a court order. “Sarah Lewis acted for us on the sale of our property. Professional approach in a frustrating process with unnecessary delays caused by our buyers solicitors. Good legal knowledge providing sensible advice. I found the team extremely courteous and keen to assist, particularly the support team (Wendy and Marie). ”

“I obtained a second opinion from Peter Martin on several matters where my existing solicitor had been failing in both service and explanation of the status with my divorce case, and a brief review of the way forward for applying for probate in respect of my late mothers estate . I found Peter to be extremely knowledgeable and straight to the point. The advice given has probably saved me further expense and valuable time, and has clarified my position in respect of a formal complaint against my divorce case solicitor. I would be pleased to recommend him.”

“Rebecca made a difficult situation easier through her fair, honest and friendly approach. I felt I had a strong and supportive advisor in my corner as my wife and I worked through an amicable divorce settlement. I was tested on a few occasions and Rebecca's wisdom and firm advice (at times) held me to account so I, as did my wife receive a fair split based on our different situations. Rebecca was always quick to respond and went above and beyond with follow-up points when finalising my case..”
