Worst experience ever. Terrible. Don't communicate, reply to emails, phone calls. Don't even answer the phone! Leave you on you own for months after month. Don't carry out instructions. I'd get more help from Dave fown the pub! Send their bills out quick enough though! Bills you get because you're emailing them but not getting anything back.

my claim progressed well and was judged to be worth 1.6 million until one awkward report from a consultant neurologist who assered i had cerebella ataxia which a further clinical review deemed unlikely or even untrue. they then advised me to accept an offer of 200k they offered me 50k whilst grbbing the emainder for their legal fees.after the deduction of the insurance premium left me with 36k. very poor advice given my second opinion neurologist completely contradited chosen neurologist. 'i made an official complaint,which they denied.

I have had a case since 2020. Right after signing the contract, my lawyer was primarily focused on gathering the full 16-year GP history since my arrival in the UK.Only after two years gap did she appoint the first expert, and that was only after my request. The expert reports are compiled without important radiological scans, and I constantly have to ask my lawyer to send them to the experts. The important witness was not included in the list of witnesses, and my lawyer talks about millions claim when neither the defendant nor the lawyer planned any negotiations since 2020. My official proposal to negotiate was rejected by my lawyer.
The official request to explain how the calculation was made for individual fractures is being ignored, and there is no response. My lawyer’s behaviour has been strange from the very beginning of the case, and of course, not in the client’s favour. All the defendant’s requests are being fulfilled.
When I asked the lawyer to name at least one significant advice piece of advice given since 2020 related to the case, my lawyer could not name it because it simply did not exist , therefore, the case is pending in court.
I advise avoiding this company if you don’t want to have psychological problems .

My son has had a nightmare with this company wish I'd never went to them my sons case has gone on for 7 YEARS..!!
it's been so stressful and so unorganised...
Now he has accepted a claim it's been 41days since he settled and 11days ago they said they have his settlement money now they have changed their tune and said actually we dont have it
...so when you do win you still can't get your money off these people
Save yourself the stress and go ANYWHERE else....
UPDATE
NOW 51 DAYS WITH NO COMPENSATION PAID.....AVOID THIS COMPANY

If I could rate zero I would. DO NOT use this firm if you want trust and as your spending a lot of money for a service, trust should be a given.
I’m currently taking them to Ombusdman. They add unnecessary phone calls and emails to their bill, people put their name on the bill I’ve never been explained who they are or what they’re doing working on my case, question go unanswered, they don’t respond in a timely manor but will say it’s due to staff being on leave. They partially double their quote but slipping it in to an email, without mentioning the quote would be go up and explain their reasoning. You are then tied in for a long period of time as they have 7 weeks to investigate your complaint and no other solicitor is keep to take on a case that’s with Ombusdman. Be warned. Stay away. They see pounds signs and nothing else.

I had an excellent experience with Slater and Gordon. My case was handled by Nadia Saber, who was professional, supportive and empathetic throughout. She listened to my family and I, and she understood our situation and family dynamic very well. Nadia took the time to explain each step of the process, offering guidance and reassurance throughout.
