We all know what to do when we have a car accident but when you get knocked off your bicycle by a car it is not so straightforward. My first call was to my house contents insurers. I took out the legal cover extra. Swinton Insurance were great and passed me on to Slater & Gordon. I quickly outlined my case and they took over. They asked for a list of my expenses as a result of the accident and put me in touch with a physiotherapist and councillor (CBT) when needed. The case was handled very professionally, contacting the other party's insurers until an offer was made for compensation. I was guided through every stage by Slater & Gordon's excellent staff until a conclusion was reached.
If you have a similar incident or for anything legal I would always recommend them.

Worst experience ever. Terrible. Don't communicate, reply to emails, phone calls. Don't even answer the phone! Leave you on you own for months after month. Don't carry out instructions. I'd get more help from Dave fown the pub! Send their bills out quick enough though! Bills you get because you're emailing them but not getting anything back.

After an accident in Dec 21, I suffered a broken arm. Some weeks later I enquired with Usdaw union as to whether I was entitled to a personal injury claim. They processed my claim which was then handed over to Slater & Gordon to handle for me.
Although it seemed to take some time, especially initially whist locating the defendant, I was regularly updated and kept informed of progress. All forms etc were easily completed via email and my medical appointment was held at a convenient location too.
The regular updates, even when there was not much to report, kept me reassured that my case was progressing. Anytime I had a query, particularly once I knew my case was going to court, I would receive prompt replies, clearly explaining everything.
I felt confident in following their advice and ultimately they achieved an outcome that I was very satisfied with.

In September 2022, I was a bystander during a car accident and sustained serious injuries including a significant brain bleed. During my hospitalisation, medical staff advised my wife of the potential outcome for severe injuries to my brains activity.
It was at his time my family and friends became severely disheartened.
I remained in hospital for the following six months, during which time my wife appointed Slater & Gordon to assist with recovery support.
My primary contact was with Will Cornwell the Principal Lawyer and Tova Reich Paralegal, who constructed my support and rehabilitation team.
Throughout the time working together, Will and his team were precis, courteous, and extremely professional in their approach and provided regular communication with me. This provided the reassurance and comfort that my family was collaborating with the best team possible.
My duration of support lasted up to March 2025 and with all the support and rehabilitation provided I have made a significant recovery to the point where I am able to communicate effectively with all.
Slater and Gordon continued in the provision of support to the official court case where I received compensation for the severe injuries I experienced.
Slater and Gordon, primarily Will Cornwell and Tova Reich, who provided support and guidance, that my family and I are now capable of appreciating life again after such a traumatic time.

My experience with David at Slater & Gordon was unbelievable. I basically did nothing, he did all the work for me. Made things extremely easy for me when it came to telling him the details of my accident, and the process thereafter such as writing up a report was not only simple, but stress-free. I very much appreciated all that he did for me. He showed true compassion and care, and proved that through everything he did. I am thankful for having him as my lawyer in this case, and I believe I know who to go to now if anything were to happen to me or anyone that I know.
