Mirror Wills cover two or more individuals, typically spouses or partners, who arrange very similar or identical wills to reflect shared wishes on the distribution of their estates and to arrange survivorship provisions. A solicitor practising this area drafts reciprocal or aligned documents, ensures appropriate gifts, trusts, and executorship appointments, and considers tax and consent issues to prevent disputes after death. The work may involve coordinating with executors, navigating potential survivorship pitfalls, and arranging for probate and administration of estates.
