I just wanted peace. I wanted to put things right so my family and my ex could finally move on. Sophia Mellor turned my life into a minefield. It's shocking how this firm works and I raised this as a complaint. In my view, they don't want an end to your case they want a war so they can keep charging. Sophia drafted court papers and gave instructions to my legal representation team. Issues were just fabricated out of thin air to keep us in court. It was her ideas and her greed and not mine at all. The pressure was the worst part, being nudged to agree to things that weren't true, with her constantly saying that happened right? until you're so stressed you just nod to get it over with. She even told me what to write to turn the tables and it worked for a bit but the truth came out. When you get in front of a judge, the game is up. I stood there feeling utterly ashamed. The judge saw through the fiction and so did my ex saw through it. I was the one left looking like a liar while she walked away with her fees. I’ve since contacted the SRA and found out this firm has previous issues. It’s not a mistake it’s a culture of acting in bad faith. They’ve wasted my life savings and pushed my family to breaking point. She was actually recommended to me by a friend and I realise now my friend only went by the free advice she received. That’s how they get you in. Don't make the same mistake I did. They don't build bridges, they burn them and charge you for the matches.
