I contacted Thomas Flavell and Sons recently regarding a query I needed a solicitors assinstance with. Within two hours of my email being sent, I received a phone call from a very kind gentleman called Noel McNicholas who was extremely helpful and ran me through everything I needed to know. Good - quick response
Bad -
1. Didn’t given any guidance about the purchase process and what happens next and what I need to do. Wrong prediction of when I need to have the money, causing me early exit from my investments and associated losses.
2. No personal touch - there was no phone conversation at all. The whole process was done via email which I find very impersonal.
3. Clerk made typo to my name in the final exchange of contract. There was no due diligent amendment to the transfer deeds and caused me extra work to update all records myself.
