My house purchase was handled with great care and went through without a hitch. Staff were friendly and approachable and everything was explained to me in easy to understand language. Would definitely recommend.

Personally I wouldn't recommend this solicitors to anyone.
OK. maybe someone who's upset me.
Very slow (one of the slowest according to many estate agents) with a woman on the reception desk (heavy accent) who talks to you like you're something she's trodden in.
When I complained after being told one thing by phone, then another solicitor said, "he couldn't tell me anything as it would contravene GDPR, as he didn't know who I was"
Firm had my Driving licence and passport on my file as methods of I.D. I had both these documents plus a Council Tax form with my address on it with me, so he basically B.S.'ed me, as full and proper I.D could be made between the file and my documents.
Quoted and were asked for a fixed fee service.
Yet charges were added to the bill (outside of any extra court fees)
No point in complaining to them, as they just brush aside complaints against the staff
I'd try someone else if I were you.

Mike immediately fills you with confidence. He explains things in a clear way, so I don't have to be a solicitor to understand him. I found he always made himself available and approachable, if ever I couldn't speak with him straight away - he always called or emailed me back, usually within a few hours.
I also appreciate how sensible he is about matters, trying to suggest they are dealt with before taking legal action, it never feels like he's trying to take on work just to charge you.
I have had other interactions with his colleagues (not legal advice) and they were friendly and professional.
I would not hesitate to use Philips Green & Murphy for any legal issues, both personal and commercial.

Disgraceful - After using Phillips Green & Murphy Solicitors as my legal representatives, I have been left with no option but to report them to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Legal Ombudsman due to their behaviour. I will update the review with the outcome of the investigations.
