Mehreen Ali is an amazing solicitor. she dealt our case with extreme professional etiquette and had no issues following up on our case, while simultaneously handling any other issues that arose she is an amazing solicitor and deserves to be in the list of professionals when leaving a review for the firm. She is a very patient and humble individual and deserves all the recognition.

The sale didn’t go through (due to circumstances out of the solicitors hands) but the communication I received throughout was poor. I kept getting sent emails containing information I’d already been sent claiming it contained “new information”, which ended up wasting my time. I then received a final bill and was told (unprompted) that they had gone ahead and charged me a “lower legal fee” even though they’d done a lot of work. Again, the majority of emails they’d sent to myself i had already sent to them previously. Very disappointing from a firm rated so highly.

I was in need of a solicitor for a property transfer and transfer of funds, I actually tried 2 other firms in Fox and Goose and Stechford and was not really impressed with the customer service and their lack of a welcoming feeling, so i tried Blackfriars Law. I was very impressed from the very beginning, the person who took the initial call was very polite and courteous, showing empathy and just had that human touch the others seemed to lack. The solicitor taking on the caee contacted me promptly and explained the process. And what would be required from myself. Zulfiqar Mohammed, was very professional, prompt and kept me updated well. The process was very smooth and as simple for myself as possible, which is always a positive. I can't recommend Mohammed Aslam at Blackfriars Solicitors highly enough. He handled all of the legal work for both the sale of my property and the purchase of my new home, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Mohammed was professional, responsive, transparent, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Any questions I had were answered promptly, which made what can often be a stressful experience feel much more straightforward. What impressed me most was how efficiently everything was completed. I was originally told by the estate agent that the whole process could take five to six months, but Mohammed successfully completed both the sale and purchase within just three months. I'm extremely grateful for all of his hard work and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable conveyancer. Mohammed Aslam Zeb Khattak

Great conveyancing service from Aslam and his team. Clearly on my side from the start. We're first time buyers so it was quite overwhelming to all of a sudden need legal representation but Aslam gave me a competitive, thorough quote and his introductory emails were incredibly detailed so I had few questions about the process. As always, it was quiet for the first two months then everything was go, go, go during the final couple of weeks. No hold-ups at all from Aslam except right at the end when the seller's solicitors suggested complications further along the chain. Nothing gets past this guy and he did everything to protect me and my money. Brilliant work.
