Sarah leads the Residential Property Department and is an Associate Director at Battens, based in our Wareham office. She gained her degree in law from the University of Hertfordshire before attending the University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE) to gain a post-graduate diploma in legal practice. Examples of cases that Sarah has worked on include: Acting on behalf of a client selling an unregistered property where the title deeds had unfortunately been lost. Prior to the property being placed on the market for sale, the title had to be reconstructed from statements of truth and documentary evidence. Acting on behalf of clients purchasing on a new build development where their plot was the first to be sold. The transaction took longer than anticipated as the paperwork received from the developer’s solicitor needed heavy amendment, but clients were pleased with the attention to detail that was given to the purchase.
