Claire and her admin team, Carrie, Abby and Katie kept me informed every step of the way. I received regular emails and telephone calls with updates. Residential Purchase Transaction
I just wanted to say how extremely impressed I was with Claire Beckett and her amazing team, in particular Grace White and James Husher.
I initially put an offer on a flat in July 2022 and a few months into the transaction, it became increasingly apparent that the Lease was defective and despite promises of a Lease extension, I eventually made the decision to pull out. I was treated with empathy, kindness and support by Claire and so when I found another Leasehold property in December 2022, I had no hesitation in instructing Claire again.
By this time, I had started working as a paralegal in a residential conveyancing team based in Buckinghamshire and it would have been easy to instruct from within my firm, but Claire and her team are amazing and I wanted to stick with them.
Today, despite some obstacles from the Seller and his solicitors I have completed on my new family home and I couldn't have been in safer hands. Claire went above and beyond to get my purchase 'over the line' and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her to any prospective Sellers and/or Buyers.

Excellent service
I would highly recommend Ashtons for conveyancing. I had what should have been a fairly simple sale and purchase that ended up being prolonged with several delays. Claire and Melissa were very supportive with reassuring advice and perseverance all the way through to completion.

Swift exchange and completion
Initially I was not impressed with Ashton’s service but after expressing my concerns they listened to what I was worried about and after that they were completely professional and completed the sale of my house quickly and efficiently. discussion

EXCELLENT SERVICE
I have worked with Claire Beckett and Melissa Norman and the rest of the conveyancing team at Ashtons on numerous occasions and always have received an excellent service. First time buyer
Claire was super friendly and explained the house moving process really clearly to a first time buyer who really didn’t know where to start! She was always available to answer any questions (no matter how small!) and always did so in a calm, patient way, clearly explaining what I needed to know. I would happily recommend her to anyone moving home - first, second or twentieth time!

Great, quick, efficient service from Claire and her team
Claire and her team have helped me buy multiple houses over the last 5 years, most recently completing the conveyancing on a house purchase in February 2021 - a time where all solicitors were incredibly busy with the stamp duty holiday. Despite how busy they were everything was done with amazing attention to detail and all done within the timescales needed. I always recommend Ashtons to anyone needing any conveyancing done. It is always comforting to know that if there is a hold up, it will not be your own solicitor when a buying a house! Thanks to everyone at Ashtons - especially Claire!

Property sale and purchase
A superb experience, in very trying times (pandemic; stamp duty window/deadline) for clients and lawyers. Claire Beckett remained calm and professional all the way through, and was supported well by her team, including Katie and Melissa. I am a former commercial property partner in a large City firm, so I can see all sides of it. Three tips for clients: (1) Get organised with information that the lawyer needs ; (2) Respond promptly when the lawyer needs instructions; (3) Ration your chasing to when it is essential, especially for phoning. Doing otherwise is counter-productive.
