Esme studied her Bachelor of Law as a mature student through The Open University and went on to achieve her Master of Law at Nottingham Trent University. Following this she joined the Ringrose Law as a Paralegal in the Children Law team in June 2019. She obtained her Training Contract in February 2021 and qualified as a solicitor in August 2022. She became an Associate Solicitor in May 2023 and Senior Associate Solicitor in May 2025. Esme has also completed her Resolution Accreditation with specialisms in both Domestic Abuse and Private Children Proceedings, which is a highly regarded qualification. Esme has experience in both private and public law children matters including complex matters involving domestic abuse and child abuse allegations. She regularly undertakes her own advocacy including at contested hearing in both private and public law proceedings. Esme has successfully obtained special guardianship orders for client's who have previously had negative assessments and prevented removal of children from parents within care cases. Within private children proceedings she has successfully obtained permission for client's to relocate with a child outside the UK and obtained orders for children to spend time with family members who live outside the UK. She regularly represents victims of domestic abuse in both obtaining injunctions and within children matters. Esme has worked in a voluntary capacity within Domestic Abuse Support for many years, and this is something she is passionate about. She is a Domestic Abuse Champion for LDASS. She has transferred the skills she has learnt in supporting victims of domestic abuse into her legal career.     A Lifeline Through Family Court

    I cannot thank my solicitor enough for the outstanding support she provided throughout my family court case. From the very beginning, she was professional, clear, and straight to the point, which I really appreciated during such a stressful time. She fully understood what I was asking for and handled everything efficiently and confidently.     Professional and compassionate representation

    Esme provided extremely professional, caring and compassionate legal aid throughout proceedings.
