An efficient and professional service.

Lorraine Hunt carried out conveyancing for us for a prolonged and complicated sale & purchase.
She offered good advice and was prompt with replies to questions, and available for phone calls to discuss progress when needed.

Child Relocation After Divorce

Simon Constable Divorce.

I initially made contact with Ringrose Law as I was made aware that RAF Coningsby utilised their services. My first solicitor was Emma Darley. All I wanted was a clean divorce... nice and straight forward you would think... given the change in the law to make this less of a laborious task. I made it very clear from the outset that I had no intention of claiming against Eleanor's inheritance from her father. I was told that inheritance could not be taken into consideration of which I was happy with. That said, I made it very clear that Eleanor was due to come into a lot of money. All I wanted was a small percentage from my former home that I had paid for since its purchase in March 2008in entirety. I was told that my military pension was to big so I wasn't entitled to anything from my home. Eleanor's dad has since past away leaving her a considerable amount of money likely to be £350,000+. All I was allowed was my pension at £960 per month. I can't live in £960 per month. She (Eleanor) now has my home, contents a car and a ridiculous amount of money to boot. While I have been left poor and without a home. And on top of all this, I have my eldest daughter to provide for. Absolutely disgusting! I made your firm aware of all of this and I have lost everything. I didn't even want half, just a percentage of my former home to start again. You!!! Have failed me and I am now having to struggle to start again while she is sitting pretty with more money than she knows what to do with. Do you think that this is fair and just? How would you feel if this was you? disgusting!!!
My Lawyers were as follows:
1. Emma Darley
2. Holly Setchfield
3. Debra Stevens
4. Paul?

Excellent service throughout

Ringrose Law helped me to sell my father’s house as I was executor. They were professional, very helpful, and kept the estate agents and myself in the loop every step of the way.

Will with extra protection

My first visit was fine, I was then informed due to my situation that I needed to see another solicitor to talk through my rights and add this. I emailed and it took several days to get a response, offering me one date! I emailed back to request another date and time that was more suitable to me and never heard a word back.. Disgraceful, you are there to support and protect people not to sit at home and do domestic jobs, sleep and enjoy being paid to Not do your job. Will never use you again!

Sale of property

We were kept up to date on a regular basis. Any questions asked were promptly answered. Exchange day they chase the buyer to make sure it happened on that day. And the day of complete / move day went very smoothly. I would recommend the Lorraine and her team.

Disappointing

Emma Van-der-Sluis was the solicitor appointed to us when my husband and I wanted to change our wills. Ringrose Law already held our previous wills and luckily we had taken these with us because Ms Van-der-Sluis admitted that she hadn't got them out to look at them.
After this visit we received an appallingly-written letter signed by her which had many grammatical and spelling errors. We were amazed and rather horrified by this as one expects a law firm to be accurate above all else.
