I regret to say that our experience with Sarah Davey as our solicitor during the purchase of our flat was extremely disappointing. I can't express enough how frustrated and dissatisfied we were with her services. From the outset, it was clear that Sarah's communication was subpar. She was often unresponsive to emails and calls, leaving us in the dark about critical aspects of the transaction. We had to chase her for updates repeatedly, which added unnecessary stress to the already complex process of buying a property. Sarah's lack of proactivity was also a significant issue. We expected our solicitor to take the initiative in advancing the process and ensuring everything was on track. Unfortunately, we had to remind her of crucial deadlines and tasks, which should have been her responsibility. In the end, the entire experience with Sarah Davey left us feeling frustrated and stressed, and it cast a shadow over what should have been an exciting and momentous occasion. I would strongly advise against using her services for any property transactions. In our opinion, she did not meet the standards of professionalism and competence that one should expect from a solicitor, especially when dealing with such an important life event.
