Excellent client care from an experienced, highly knowledgeable team.
I am currently pursuing a challenge to a Will and have been dealing with Hedges Law in this capacity. Members of Hedges Law specialist Inheritance Disputes Team, led by Ms Claire Cox and assisted by Ms Ella Swanwick and Ms Rachel Harwood, have proven to be highly responsive to all my correspondence. Ms Cox in particular, as Team Leader, expedites actions and has a facility to explain matters in layman's terms, while clearly posessing extensive and broad knowledge and expertise. Like Ms Cox, her fellow team members are unfailingly helpful and, during online conferences, Ms Cox, Ms Swanwick and Ms Harwood have always been approachable, with a down-to-earth yet highly professional approach to business. I recommend Hedges Law, and especially the Inheritance Disputes Team, without hesitation, and will use Hedges Law in future for all my legal requirements.

Settling probate for my late husband
I was treated with respect and empathy at all stages of the process. My solicitor was clear and helpful at outlining the stages of the process. She kept me up-to-date with progress and obstacles, with a clear plan of how she anticipated resolving any problems.
I will be using this service to make my own will.

A model of efficiency and professionalism

Ella Swanwick - James Mills Estate
Ms Ella Swanwick came aboard very quickly to access the estate of James Mills (deceased). She behaved as a professional throughout the proceedings and dealt with the less appealing matters of collecting, measuring and distributing the estate in an exemplary manner. Ella is a great communicator and kept me informed throughout the process. I felt I could trust her to carry out all of the duties through to the end of the case which is exactly what she did. Professional and understanding .
Hedges Law dealt with the estate of our dear friend. From the onset they were sensitive to the family’s needs and you felt that they really cared. This all took place during Covid but they managed the complexities that created very well.They were very thorough and every detail attended to. I had a lot of dealings with Ella. Her communications were very prompt and any questions were quickly responded to. I felt I could contact her over the smallest concern and know it was listened to. The whole team at Hedges Law worked efficiently and professionally. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future.

Professional and friendly
When you unexpectedly have to deal with the death of your best friend, the legal process of probate is somewhat daunting. Fortunately, from the very first phone call to Hedges, I knew I was in safe hands. All the staff I had contact with were, as one would expect, professional. However, they were mindful of how I was feeling and showed great compassion and understanding. Put simply, they made a difficult situation easy and comfortable.
