Anna has specialised in trusts and estate administration since she qualified in 2002, and joined us in 2012. She was promoted from Senior Associate to Partner in March 2020. Anna is also a joint Head of our Private Client department The nature of Anna’s work means that she helps clients at a time when they are feeling overwhelmed with emotion and the burden of responsibility, be that in respect of losing a family member or if they’re facing a diagnosis and want to put their affairs in order. Anna prides herself on being able to show compassion and empathy for a person’s situation, and relieving them of the burden of dealing with the legal aspects of which they have no knowledge. She is a full member of STEP, the Association of Lifetime Lawyers (with an Older Client Care in Practice Award) and the Private Client Section of the Law Society. Anna is also a volunteer for Bristol Dementia Action Alliance and a passionate campaigner on dementia issues; she is a trained Dementia Friends Champion and provides training on being dementia friendly for the firm. Anna is also a lay member of the South Gloucestershire Brain Bank Governance Committee.

    Our experience at the Thornbury Barcan and Kirby offices was supportive (my wife has Dementia) cheerful (there was always a moment for a smile) but effective (we got the information and service we required) and efficient (we get t it in a timely manner). A really good experience! Try it!!
