Keep Calm and Call Stacey
Stacey Hamilton was fantastic in getting us through those all-important early stages of selling our home and buying our new one — from putting in the offer and getting the ball rolling, right through to handing everything over to our solicitor, Gemma Miller. As anyone who has bought and sold a house knows, there’s a stage where you suddenly seem to have a hundred questions, several things happening at once and absolutely no idea whether you should be excited or mildly panicking. Stacey was exactly the person you want at that point! She kept me updated throughout, explained what was happening and what would happen next, and had a brilliant knack for making the whole process feel far less daunting. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and she was patient, reassuring and always happy to answer my questions — including, I suspect, a few versions of “Is this normal?!” Stacey made sure everything got off to the best possible start and that we knew exactly where we stood before passing us into the very capable hands of Gemma. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and wonderfully calming — Stacey was the perfect person to have at the start of our house-moving adventure. If moving house came with a “keep calm” button, we’re fairly sure it would be called Stacey! George & Ryan
