Walking through the door at the Bristol centre offices of Barcan-Kirby I was cheerfully greeted and felt immediately welcome and relaxed. The initial meeting with James Bell came with no time pressure for me to give background detail and fully explain why I was seeking legal advice. After this first meeting I felt relief knowing the possible ways forward and the likely outcome of any action to be taken. As a result I better understood my situation and learned how to safeguard against it happening again in the future. The costs of research, preparation, litigation and options were fully detailed. The advice offered and action taken made my decision making more straightforward. It was an enlightening experience which I much appreciated.

The reason for contacting a new firm of solicitors was to ask for an opinion on the course of action taken by my mother's solicitors, as I have the LPA for her. It was difficult to convey the details without entering into a time consuming exercise and therefore a costly one! However, an opinion was eventually given and I was satisfied with the outcome, but only after I had to change solicitors after a wait due to the fact that the first contact was on leave etc. Trying to contact the solicitor to ask a final question, took ages.
