I cannot thank Anna Mackay and her team (Aimee Urquhart, Aimee Holmes and Patricia Barclay) enough for the thorough defence and support provided to me throughout my case. With no prior experience of the court system and the allegations put forward this was an extremely anxious and emotional time. Anna was fantastic in both giving me hope of a positive outcome and also tempering my expectations due to the nature and conviction rate of the charges. Anna’s excellent showing in court was particularly impressive displaying how calm, confident, and extremely well prepared she was on the numerous court dates. Her ability to put forward the truth and expose the lies for the court to see was exceptional. Receiving a Not Guilty verdict was all that I’d hoped for and Anna fought for this for me.
