Victoria is a Senior Associate in our Family Law team. She advises on all aspects of family law, including divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships, separation, financial settlement, pre and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements and children matters. Victoria gained experience as a paralegal before starting her training contract and qualifying as a solicitor in 2014. Victoria is a member of Resolution and is recognised as a Leading Associate in the Legal 500. Victoria is committed to the Resolution Code of Practice, which promotes a constructive approach to family issues that considers the needs of the whole family. Where it is not possible to reach an agreement in this way, Victoria has a wealth of experience in representing clients throughout the Court process. Victoria regularly advises clients on more complex issues, including where there are family businesses and/or trusts involved. Victoria is passionate about helping clients resolve their disputes and to be able to move forward with their lives, whether the issues in their case are straightforward or complex. There is a gap where many families fall where supported contact is needed, but there are few places that are able to offer this. Victoria is a trustee for the Bury Contact Centre, and the charity offers support and safe child contact in a neutral setting. Outside of work, Victoria enjoys spending time with her young family and exploring new places together. She is also a committee member for a local toddler group.
