I had a nightmare of a divorce and spent over £20,000 on a so called solicitor and barrister for a financial split on the matrimonial home. The children were grown up so the house was a 50/50 split and there should have been no need to spend that sort of money in arguing the split anyway. I got totally ripped off by my previous solicitor. Once the sale of the house was sorted in Court and the house was finally sold, there were problems with the wording on the Court Order which my Barrister had drafted! It meant that I was going to get nothing. My Barrister ignored my calls and I had to find a matrimonial solicitor to sort things out. The system has been absolutely appalling. I went through all the correct channels and the Court Order messed me up. I did not know which way to turn. In the end I found Georgia Holmes and her team who sorted the issue out promptly. She took no nonsense from the other party or their solicitors and made it completely stress free as she dealt with everything. I did not have to have any contact with my ex which I had been doing through my previous solicitor. I seemed to be doing all the work and it was extremely stressful. I cannot thank Georgia and her team at Barcan and Kirby enough. It's finally all over! I would thoroughly recommend using Georgia Holmes. I just wish I had gone through her in the first place. It would have saved me some much stress, time and money. Thank you so much.
