Grant joined Warner Goodman's Company Commercial team in December 2020 after spending several years working at several local law firms. Grant arrived at Warner Goodman with extensive knowledge in the Commercial Law sector and has a fantastic reputation within the Hampshire area. Grant's hard work and outstanding contribution since joining Warner Goodman was rewarded in May 2023 when he gained Associate status at the Firm. Grant attended Oxford Brookes University and received a First Class Honours in Law. After University, Grant completed a training contract and became a fully qualified Solicitor in March 2017. Since then, Grant has achieved some incredible milestones while working in Commercial Law. Grant was runner-up for LawNets National Junior Lawyer of the Year in November 2017 and won Junior Lawyer of the Year at the Hampshire Incorporated Law Society in May 2018. Day-to-day Grant predominantly works with various-sized local businesses in and around Hampshire with Corporate and Commercial legal matters. Typical services include share and asset sales and purchases, corporate reorganisations, management buyouts, contract reviews, and private equity investment. He also has a keen interest in data protection and GDPR-related matters. As an Associate, Grant looks forward to helping the Firm grow the Company Commercial team and assisting more businesses within Portsmouth and Hampshire area.

Special mention to Grant Usher

I would like to give a special mention to Grant Usher. I would like to say how very impressed I have been with his professional quiet and calm approach clearly a fantastic representative for Verisona Law. Grant is very good at listening to the concerns of the client and will take time to consider the best approach to the issue. Grant is mature and level headed which I found to be very reassuring qualities especially during the more stressful periods of the transaction. His guidance, professional knowledge and advice were excellent and he ensured that I was fully informed at all times. During the whole process Grant showed great care and attention and took time to explain any detail that I was not sure about. His reassuring approach took much of the stress away from myself as I felt confident that he would make the best decision to represent my interests at all times. It was a pleasure working with him.’
