It is a shame to write this review, as previous experience with the staff in this office has been nothing but kind and helpful. Unfortunately, on my latest visit to get some paper work signed I was made to feel very unwelcome by the solicitor, (not at all made to feel like that by the receptionist) - in fact, made to feel like an inconvenience. The solicitor was late for my appointment, but that didn’t bother me as I know how busy they are, but I was made to feel like I was the one that was running late. He was also very rude whilst talking to me, it felt like he was trying to belittle me and make me feel like I did not know anything. I was planning on making an appointment to go through my will, but I really wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.

I left a review following my experience with Lyons Bowe expressing displeasure at the service - notably the speed of the process and the difficulty with which to get hold of solictors working at the firm. I have since had a reply to confirm that our case was completed within an average amount of time. Further, the managing director of the firm took time to review my case and share his findings with me. Though there were frustrations at finding it hard to get responses from some of the solicitors on our case, the delays had been caused due to our buyer’s solictors. Having the details explained to me was appreciated, and I can see now that this was not at the fault of Lyons Bowe. I appreciated the response from Paul Lyons and the time he took to review the case and explain this to me in more detail.

Horrendous! The worst communication I’ve ever experienced, you get moved from one person to another dependant on the stage of the sale so no continuity, and if you run into problems with others in the chain this firm do absolutely nothing to support you or help move things along, questions are consistently ignored, when discussing poor communication with the CEO he was the most patronising man I’ve ever spoken to in my life, he told me that he encourages his staff not to reply to emails because they have better things to do than spend time placating clients, and he reprimanded me for referring to myself as a paying customer because ‘we are providing you with a legal service not a product’ absolutely would never ever touch this firm again, they don’t deserve the money they’ve had from us.
