After graduating in London with her LLB Law Degree, Sabrina joined the Residential Conveyancing team in our Portsmouth office in May 2015 as a Completions Assistant. Soon after she was promoted to Paralegal and moved to our Fareham office where she assisted with all aspects of conveyancing transactions alongside studying for her Graduate Legal Executive status. Sabrina is now a Conveyancing Executive in our new Fareham office and works with clients who are on and looking to get on the property ladder. In her role Sabrina deals with various conveyancing transactions including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity. Sabrina has a keen interest in the auction process and is part of the firms specialist auction team where she regularly attends auctions.

Sally and the team were amazing. After a 10 month ordeal, they managed to exchange and complete on the same day, not many solicitors could've done that. I used their services again following my first purchase and have no hesitation in using them again.

We opted to go with Warner Goodman to act as conveyancers for our house sale and subsequent purchase. From the very first moment up to the day before completion our solicitor was first class and kept us informed along the whole journey of the sale and purchase, she was also so friendly and always happy to speak to us if we had any queries and took time to explain what it all meant to us, I couldn’t praise her enough. It then went downhill on the day before completion or the night before (21:30pm to be precise) we received an email from one of the assistants who was now dealing with the completion side of things stating that we owed £5k because of an early repayment charge on our Nationwide mortgage, this was completely incorrect as we were porting our mortgage so we were exempt from this fee. This email caused us unnecessary worry and stress late on the night before completion and the fact we received an email was very disappointing as this could have easily been overlooked as we were hectic making sure everything was all packed before our move the next day. A telephone call from the assistant at the solicitors the next morning (completion day) confirmed that we actually don’t need to pay the £5k fee which was obviously a relief but it still didn’t hide my dismay at how unprofessional it was for the paperwork to have a. Not been checked correctly and b. To contact us by email so late in the day not to mention the day before completion!

Regarding the email you received prior to completion, we accept that this was an error on our system that was unfortunately not checked before sending due to the level of work we were processing. That day we saw an extremely high number of completions and we were working late the day before to ensure everything was in order for all those to be able to go ahead and complete. We pride ourselves on our level of customer satisfaction that you experienced at the beginning of your transaction with us and apologise for this oversight on our part.
