Slow Unclear and Stressful Process
AdKirk were appointed to handle an outstanding Land Registry issue that our original solicitor failed to complete — something we were unaware of at the time. Communication throughout the process was poor, and as we weren’t their original clients, we often felt like an afterthought. What should have been a simple task ended up taking almost two years, with me repeatedly chasing for updates and being given the same response each time: that it “can take up to two years.” After expressing my frustration to a family member, they resolved the issue within 24 hours. it took AdKirk a further two weeks — if not longer — to confirm file complete. After we did the work! Overall, the experience was slow, poorly communicated, and far more stressful than it needed to be. If I had a choice I wouldn’t have used them.

Our retainer only covered dealing with the registration of your property with the Land registry. Unfortunately, the time scales we are given by the land registry are out of our control and we can only provide clients with the information we are given.
