AdKirk were appointed to handle an outstanding Land Registry issue that our original solicitor failed to complete — something we were unaware of at the time. Communication throughout the process was poor, and as we weren’t their original clients, we often felt like an afterthought. What should have been a simple task ended up taking almost two years, with me repeatedly chasing for updates and being given the same response each time: that it “can take up to two years.” After expressing my frustration to a family member, they resolved the issue within 24 hours. it took AdKirk a further two weeks — if not longer — to confirm file complete. After we did the work! Overall, the experience was slow, poorly communicated, and far more stressful than it needed to be. If I had a choice I wouldn’t have used them.

We've used Adkirk Law several times for conveyancing over the last 4 years, dealing with Linda Kirk, Anna Sparrow and more recently Amie Hodson. My experience was over all a positive one. I had two dealings related to property, both were concluded successfully. Communication from Adkirk wasn't always fortcoming leaving long periods of time not knowing if any progress had been made, forcing me to call for an update, occasionally i was passed to what seemed like a third party(or home worker) who could only pass on messages. All worked out fine in the end.

I nearly pulled out of my sale through their lack of communication. My Estate Agent was continously trying to get updates a questioning why the process was taking so long. My property was empty and the buyer was in rented, so it should have taken 3 months instead of 6 months.
