If you need a lawyer that is gonna help you and make the process easier trust me Emma Cohen is the one. I’m originally from Cameroon and moved to the UK on a tourist visa with my adoptive father, but as the UK Government does not recognise the adoption I was going to have to go back to Cameroon. We started working with Emma to apply for Leave to Remain based on Human Rights - it was a really tough time for me, but with Emma’s hard work the application was accepted so I can finally travel ,work and even learn to drive. Thank you so much Emma for your hard work and support - you have changed my life .

I used OTB Legal to apply for indefinite leave to remain on behalf of my American wife, who had a residence permit for 5+ years preceding her date of application, but was prevented by the pandemic from being physically present in the UK for the whole of the period. So there was some uncertainty as to whether all criteria for ILR would be considered satisfied by the Home Office, and the initial estimate of success was 40–50%. However, the experience was very positive, not only because the application was ultimately successful, but also because Ajantha was simultaneously very friendly and very professional, took care to ensure that all issues were addressed, and enabled me to remain optimistic about the prospects for success throughout four months of waiting for a decision.

My appeal was fairly cut and dry but the Home Office made it difficult even after the tribunal granted the appeal. Emma was diligent and detailed throughout the whole process. We instructed Emma Cohen from OTB Legal to apply for my wife's Indefinite Leave To Remain. This is our 5th visa application in total, after 3 for my wife and a couple for the step kids. Generally speaking, I detest applying for visas as the process is so laborious and not user friendly, while the ramifications are life changing. The most stressful things we have done is to apply for visas. Emma completely turned that around for us. We hardly felt any stress! She was calm, knowledgeable and took the lead when we were slacking. The best visa application help we have had. Absolutely zero faults and we'll be using her again for the step kids' ILRs too obviously.

We’ve just successfully received our ILR settlement through OTB Legal, and honestly we couldn’t recommend them highly enough. I’m a British national and my wife is from Nepal, so this process was incredibly important to us, and from start to finish OTB made everything feel calm, organised, and completely straightforward.
