From day 1 Steph kept in contact with us on a regular basis and always responded to emails quickly. As first time buyers we didn’t know what to expect but the whole process felt smooth and organised and any questions we had were promptly answered. There were a couple of minor issues at the beginning of the process with incorrect titles and names being added to documents we had to sign but this was resolved quickly and was apologised for. There was also a misunderstanding with the deposit amount just before completion however upon doing some research it seems other people have had the same issue with the same mortgage provider where some information was unclear, rather than it being the solicitors fault. This was also resolved extremely quickly and Steph called us to reassure us that everything had gone through. I would 100% recommend Lilac Law to others as I found them very transparent and responsive.

Unfortunately my experience of lilac law has been nothing short of shoddy. As first time buyers of a property it's not the easiest process to learn and understand. Our first real experience with them was being asked to sign and date a document to show our boundary line.The document barely showed the property and was cut off. Complete lack of attention to detail and no apology provided when questioned. Sadly this made the process more stressful as I no longer trusted anything they provided and with hindsight should have gone with a different solicitors. Unfortunately due to a bad survey the house purchase fell through and a frankly outrageous final invoice was issued. Fine whatever it is what it is. Then a month later I get an email saying sorry you still owe 192 pound. I queried this and have been told the price quoted didn't include vat. However this also does not add up which I'm about to further dispute. Lilac were recommended by tembo and this experience has tarnished not only my perception of themselves but also of the trustworthiness of Tembo themselves. NEW BUYERS BEWARE. My experience has been they have no care, no attention to detail and if you want someone to support you with the process, do not go with Lilac law

Ben Clensy at Lilac Law has been great to deal with, helped with our completion and is very communicative. Overall my experience has been great. Ben has always responded to my phone calls or called me back very soon, unlike other solicitor's firms which are difficult to get through. We pushed to get the sale completed a couple of weeks earlier which Ben helped us to achieve. We were referred to Lilac Law by Tembo and I'm glad they did. The price of the service is reasonable. The onboarding was online so no paperwork to fill in which made it fast and easy. Completion and witness via DocuSign was a massive bonus, no having to print out tens of legalise pages, sign and mail them by hand. A small bit of feedback is after onboarding to send an email to the client to let them know you'll be in touch soon, and check the total for the figures for completion fees, which clients should be double checking anyway. Overall great service and highly recommended.

Thanks Lilac Law. I have used this company previously and had excellent service. Communication was great and they kept me up to date. Sellers side were dragging their heels sometimes , however Lilac Law were always proactive. I am currently using them for an issue I have with a lease and again communication is great. Thank you to all the team at Lilac Law, can highly recommend.
