I had a probate sale to process and, having good experiences with Garner & Hancock in the past, chose them to deal with it. The team working on this (Gurdev, Komal and Tiana) worked diligently. I was greatly impressed with their professionalism and efficiency to bring the matter to a successful conclusion without delay, despite being under Covid-lockdown for most of the time. I am very happy with the service I received.

This law firm charged £100 plus VAT for client engagement fees yet could not afford to send my documents by post. Upon visiting to collect my papers on 02 June 2026, I asked them to use the washroom and found there were little or no provision for less abled customers. If you charge £ 650 plus VAT per hour, then at least be compliant or considerate yourselves. I found them to be full of greed.

For clarity, our fixed-fee options and any client engagement fees are explained to clients in advance before any new matter is opened.
I want to give a brief review and offer high praise to Agatha Gawlowska of Adams Delmar who has, yet again, delivered the most excellent support to us through two more property transactions. We have purchased a flat with some difficult lease and management angles, all navigated flawlessly by Agatha. She has also managed the conveyancing for the sale of our family house with long and complex chain of buyers behind it. Once again, with no stress apparent to us as the sellers. Agatha is quite simply so in control, so good at communicating the events as they happen and saying what is required from me as a buyer or a seller that at every point I felt we were in control of the process. I rate her so highly I have recommended that she support one of my oldest friends in the sale of his property. I am that confident that she will deliver the same service to him as she has done for me - I would recommend her to support anyone in a property transaction.

After struggling to cope with dealing with an inheritance, we requested help from Garner&Hancock. The overall management of our needs was handled by Jakub Kotan. This involved deaing with properties in three countries (sale, conveyancing, etc.), dealing with the authorities abroad, bringing in colleagues where necessary to help with taxes, our own will writing and power of attorney requirements. Under Jakub's guidance, we had contact with a number of his colleagues and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following people for their help: Matthew Goddard, Gurdev Mann, Tiana Stewart, Komal Soni, Kiran Walia, Nigel George, Natalie Meehan, Imogen Cotter, Chloe Melling, Charne Rossouw and Massimo Cairo - my sincere apologies to anyone I may have missed. All the members of staff we contacted were highly professional, polite, friendly and effective. Despite not being the easiest clients to deal with, we are very happy with the help received. Once again, thanks to everybody. One final point, we already have Garner&Hancock on speed-dial for when the next of us "shuffle(s) of this mortal coil".

I booked an appointment for notarisation and apostolate. The appointment was cancelled because of the weather. I was offered to come in the morning or next week. Came in the morning and was then asked to wait until nearly lunchtime. I missed my own business appointments due to this poor service. Took my business elsewhere
