PROFESSIONAL SERVICE FROM HEDGES LAW

I instructed Hedges Law on a relatively simple legal transaction but which was complicated by the criteria involved i.e. conveyances and documents over 100 years old. James Overton the lawyer involved did a site visit to have a full understanding of the matter and this level of personal involvement was matched by Rachel Harwood with the regular communications which followed which is so important in any legal matter..

Very professional and straightforward

Hedges were used for a Will rewrite and Lasting Powers of Attorney. The processes were, on the whole, smooth and any slight hiccups were caused by myself.

Help, advice and support for Probate

Hedges Law in Wallingford always helpful, efficient and quick to respond. We wanted to sort out our legal affairs, update Wills etc. Peter Tyrrell agreed to a telephone meeting with us shortly before my husband died after a long illness. After he died Peter was kind, understanding and patient. He came to Wallingford twice and guided me through complications of sole and joint financials matters and applying for Probate. He kept me informed at every stage and .always responded quickly to my questions. I did not question the cost; I knew and trusted that a solicitor would carry out my husband;s Will and Wishes. I was sole Executor but my children were fully informed and included at all stages of legal matters until the Estate file was closed.

Tina and Tracy at Hedges Solicitors assisted with the recent purchase of a flat. Friendly, fully professional and they kept me informed along a lengthy process. Very thorough - Tina picked up an assessment that had not been covered previously by other buyers solicitors. My only negative would be the quote for services was less than I finally paid but the process took longer than originally expected which was out of their control. I would not hesitate to use Hedges solicitors again.

Very historic Wallingford solicitors, now dragged into C21 WFH. Pricing full but negotiable. Service good. Pretty ghastly concrete Summertown annex, well served.
