    Somerton Commercial Unit Transfer

    The whole team at Pardoes were really good. It was a long winded process to complete the purchase of an indusrial unit in Somerton, which was not of Pardoes making, but they got us over the line to completion. We are more than happy with their various staff and I even use then for my own personal needs e.g. wills etc.

    First Class!

    We have a particularly unpleasant neighbour. 17 years ago after 5 years or more of legal correspondence we attended a mediation hearing over a boundary issue, after which all parties signed an agreement and a determined boundary was submitted successfully to Land Registry. My neighbour never reconciled himself to this, accusing all parties of corruption, and refused to abide by the agreement to such an extent that he eventually built a structure across the determined boundary. We felt forced to go to law and were recommended to Mrs. Bhavani Hogarty at Pardoes in Yeovil by the surveyor who did work for us in 2009. Ultimately we attended a Summary Judgment hearing achieving success which was entirely due to the hard work put in by my excellent lawyer and her chosen barrister Mr. Edward Peters KC.

    Appointed Pardoes for our recent house sale and purchase. Sale was handled efficiently and smoothly despite a complicated chain. Purchase was easy without any challenges.     Pardoes staff - Sophie and Rachel - were friendly and courteous, but we did feel that the process took longer than it should have done and that some tasks could have been done earlier than they were. However, we realise a lot of delay came from the buyer's solicitors. Also, in the period following confirming the completion date, everything did happen very quickly.
