Top 10 of 849 law firms for Employment Appeals, Appeals Law

Law firms ranked by client reviews

This work covers appeals against employment tribunal decisions, including matters like unfair dismissal, discrimination, wages, and redundancy, heard in England. A solicitor practising in Employment Appeals investigates the tribunal’s findings, drafts grounds of appeal, and lodges the appeal with the Employment Appeal Tribunal, requesting a review of point of law or procedure. They may rely on the tribunal record, authorities on employment law, and written or oral submissions to argue why the decision should be changed or set aside. The process is time-bound and hinges on identifying a legal error or misapplication of law.

What a solicitor handles in these matters

The solicitor handles grounds of appeal, supplements the tribunal record with legal authorities, and frames arguments around points of law, such as misapplication of welfare or statutory rights. They must manage evidential rules, compliance with timetable and court procedure, and potential further hearings, while coordinating with counsel, the client, and the tribunal system. The work often involves interpreting complex employment law precedents and procedural steps that determine the appeal’s prospects.

Yes/no satisfied of the outcome because I know I was pushed to plea guilty because the barrister said the jury will find me guilty even if I didn't do anything. My solicitor at WhiteRoseBlackmans told me to plea not guilty because no evidence on one matter but never did anything wrong to the other matter either. Just silly things I said. I am going to wait until I get out to see if I can overthrow my convictions. Can't believe the jury would find me guilty on no evidence. I should have never been put in here because of what I went through in my childhood in the 80s, been let down like children are today getting blamed for something not their fault.
