Yvonne was so empathetic and helpful throughout the process. As a victim of domestic abuse it felt so reassuring to have a solicitor who was so understanding and knowledgeable. I wish I had her from the very beginning of all my court proceedings, but she still helped me to achieve a positive outcome in the relevant children proceedings. When you are being prosecuted you need to hire someone who knows the law well enough to represent you so that you don't get hit even harder that you deserve. It happens all the time, the (throwing the book at you method). The book hurts. The police and CPS like to escalate charges. If you don't have a representative who knows what might happen. I had a solicitor from another firm before, same case. His representation was discontinued and I hired a lady from Richard Nelson LLP. She made sure the law remained honest, I was given a consequence that matched my offence not a hugely escalated sentence that would have been unfair. She knows things like what sentencing guidelines the court are empowered with and made a point to the court that they accepted which otherwise would have left me in a position where I would no doubt have been prosecuted again in future. Eve Paterson skillfully negotiated the safe zone between there should be a consequence and escalated charges to make it sound worse than it was. In my very humble opinion,if you are going into a courtroom without her good luck. But if I had a choice I would use Richard Nelson. Eve if possible.

Clare has been a very understanding solicitor. She listened and was able to relay my words and thoughts to the courts. She has been very supportive and I felt in safe hands. My case was not typical and was based on mental health. Clare absolutely understood this and was able to adapt accordingly rather than run her own narrative. I did not get to choose Clare, as she was a duty solicitor. But I feel very lucky and very blessed to have had her represent me.

My husband dependant Visa case was very critical and challenging that other law firm has already concluded that it was a no on arrival. They rejected me and my husband and advise we should look for another route for him to join me here in UK but Solicitor Shelzad Picked up our case and handled it very professionally. I can't thank him enough. Him and Sue was the only hope we had, Their encouragement and guidance was the best thing I have ever witnessed in this UK. Within 5 days of our visa application submission, an approval was granted. This is a visa that was previously denied and all manner of misinformed statement written on the refusal letter by the Ukvi, Administrative review from other legal solicitor was denied too but when Solicitor Shelzad handled the case, approval was granted within 5 working days.
