Burnett Barker dealt with my workplace issue with complete professionalism. They are friendly, rigorous, explain the issues clearly and always responsive.

Our family has used SME over the years for a range of issues covering house and land purchases, employment disputes and divorces. They have an exceptional team of specialised solicitors, and we have always been glad to have had them on our side. We will continue recommending them as solicitors of choice to our friends.

When I found myself facing a complex and emotionally challenging redundancy situation, I was fortunate enough to have Oli McCann by my side. From our very first conversation, Oli demonstrated not only exceptional legal expertise but a level of care, compassion and personal commitment that is incredibly rare. Throughout the process, he was always available when I needed him – often outside normal working hours – and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Oli's knowledge of employment law is second to none. He quickly understood the complexities of my situation, provided clear and practical advice, and guided me through every stage with confidence and reassurance. What impressed me most was his ability to achieve an outstanding result without unnecessary confrontation. Through his calm, measured and highly professional approach, he helped resolve the entire matter amicably, preserving relationships whilst securing a genuinely positive and mutually beneficial outcome. More than simply acting as my solicitor, Oli became a trusted adviser and source of strength during a difficult period. He has an extraordinary ability to make you feel supported, protected and understood. In many ways, it felt as though he put his arms around me and carried me through the process. Following the successful resolution of my redundancy, I established my own international consultancy business. Thanks in no small part to the support, advice and encouragement I received from Oli, the business has gone from strength to strength in just a matter of weeks. I cannot recommend Oli McCann highly enough. He is undoubtedly one of the most knowledgeable professionals I have ever worked with, but more importantly, he is someone who genuinely cares about his clients and the outcomes they achieve. If you are facing an employment challenge and want exceptional legal representation combined with genuine human support, you will struggle to find anyone better. I cannot thank the Napthens team enough (Now considered part of the Holland family x)
