Divorce guidance in England covers the legal process of ending a marriage, including issuing a divorce petition, dealing with relief from the marriage and any financial or child arrangements that follow. A solicitor helps prepare and file the divorce petition, respond to counter-petitions, draft and negotiate settlements such as consent orders, and guide clients through steps like disclosure, mediation, and, if needed, court hearings. The work often culminates in a court-approved financial settlement and a final divorce decree.

“I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Curwens and especially Vijaya and Sara who handled my family law case. It was a distressing and anxious time for me and they could not have been more thorough and professional in their approach. They always responded promptly and gave me total faith in their handling. I really do not know how I would have got through it all without them and I certainly feel that I would not have got the outcome that I did without their expertise. A million times thank you Vijaya and Sara! I can now look forward to a better life.”

“would wholeheartedly recommend Wilson Solicitors. During one of the most difficult and emotionally challenging periods of my life, I received exceptionally professional, attentive, and compassionate support. Amy Yates handled my case with great expertise, clarity, and determination, ensuring that I felt safe and well informed at every stage of the process. Damla Demirci’s kindness, accessibility, and ongoing support made this experience far more manageable for me. As a mother dealing with such a sensitive matter that directly affected my child’s future, working with such a dedicated and empathetic team was incredibly valuable. I am sincerely grateful for their efforts, patience, and genuinely human approach. I wholeheartedly recommend Wilson Solicitors, and especially Amy Yates and Damla Demirci, to anyone seeking reliable, professional, and compassionate legal representation.”
