Top 10 of 4,159 law firms for Nullity Proceedings, Family Law

Law firms ranked by client reviews

Nullity proceedings involve asking a court to declare that a marriage never validly existed, or that it is void or voidable, on specific grounds such as lack of capacity or consent, bigamy, prohibited degrees of relationship, or non-consummation. A solicitor drafts and issues the petition, gathers evidence, and conducts correspondence with the court. They arrange medical or psychological evidence if required, and manage financial and child-related orders as part of the overall process, including any proposed separation arrangements.

Where a solicitor protects your position

The decision to grant a nullity is time-bound and legally decisive, because it recognises that the marriage did not meet the formal requirements of a valid union. A solicitor ensures the proper handling of court deadlines, coordinates with the court, and represents the client in hearings, while advising on the implications for property, finances, and children.

Jim Truscott

Tagged solicitor Jim Truscott

...Jim and Jack dealt with the forming of a new company and with that a gift of shares and a share purchase forming part of a divorce settlement (so everything had the potential to be a bit antagonistic between the parties..) but these guys were on the ball, soaked up the necessary messing about but held their ground when they needed to. Great service.
