I recently moved house from South West London to East Sussex. The period of the move included two lock downs. So the move took 10 months. This was something none of us had experienced, including our solicitor, Ashraf Islam or any of the staff at Rose and Rose. In what, in normal times is considered a very stressful time, now became ten times worse. However, it would have been, had it not been for Ashraf, who kept us fully informed and who at various points, seemed to go the extra mile, to keep the move on track. The staff and Ashraf always seemed to be available for help or advice. If I left a message it was always answered promptly. In short, I could not be happier with the service we received from all the staff at Rose and Rose, and especially Ashraf Islam.

We engaged Downs solicitors to sell and purchase our current/new properties. What can I say other than wow/amazing! Yes we had a short chain luckily, we had first time buyers and we bought a vacant property with no forward chain but the whole thing was done in around 10 weeks from the moment of sale agreed to exchange! Bill Rashbrook Was amazing! Very efficient and always on the ball, keeping us informed all the way whilst preparing for the next step in advance. Claire Lacy, his legal assistant, was on to us immediately with all the required forms and payments to sign making the whole thing as easy and simple as it can be! We cannot recommend this company and these two people highly enough! Thanks again Bill/Claire you are amazing! Steve and Sue Cousins

Juanita has been amazing throughout this confusing and stressful experience of being a first time buyer. Juanita was patient with me when I had 101 questions to ask and she was able to explain things to me clearly. As someone who is not confident or comfortable with long /largely worded documents and legal jargon . Juanita was able to guide me through the process and at one pint saved me thousands of pounds. Juanita was recommended to me buy a friend and I will be definitely be recommending Juanita and her amazing team. Thank you again Juanita in being a part of my journey to becoming a home owner. During our recent house purchase Helen was indispensable in helping to calmly and professionally help at all stages of our purchase and sale. She was proactive and responsive and made the process speedy and efficient for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her conveyancing services.

I have instructed B & R several times now and once again they have handled a property sale with minimum drama and always provide helpful recommendations if any issues arise. They provide a professional service at good value.

I worked with Dutton Gregory for a transfer of equity and Hirakshi was outstanding. The best experience I’ve had of a solicitor. Punctual, good communication, nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would use them again in future.
