Joint Wills in England and Wales are a single document made by two people, typically a couple, that settles how their property will pass on death with the survivor usually bound by the agreement. A solicitor advises on whether this arrangement suits tax planning and family needs, drafts the joint document, clarifies survivorship and any survivorship provisions, arranges witnessing and storage, and helps with later changes or revocation if one party dies or the arrangement needs updating.

What Joint Wills clients highlight
“Reshma provided a professional service helping to organize a will for an elderly person whose first language was Gujarati. Transparent with the costs, helped make amendments and arranged for the will to be signed and witnessed at their local offices. Parking was available and with offices on the ground floor, there were no issues with access for someone elderly and with mobility issues. Throughout the process, Reshma was professional, polite and made an effort to ensure that the will could be completed with the minimum of fuss. Finding legal professionals with the ability to converse in Gujarati (south of the river) proved to be more difficult than expected and fortunately Reshma was able to step in ensuring her client's wishes were met and understood perfectly. Would highly recommend this law firm and grateful for Reshma's assistance”

“My wife and I have in recent months engaged Richard into our Inheritance planning, he made what is quite a complex area very understandable. We have used Richard's services to amend our Wills, create LPA's and LFA's and finally create 2 Trusts with Deeds of Variation. I'm sure we will need more advice in this area in future.”
